Anna and Micah’s Virginia Key Beach Engagement Session was so much fun to shoot. Anna called me when she was looking for engagement photos, but she hadn’t dived into wedding planning just yet. She and Micah live in South Florida now but they’re likely getting married in their hometown in Minnesota. That’s where they are from. I was more than happy to do the engagement session for them while they figured out what they wanted to do for their wedding.

They met up with me at Virginia Key Beach. We chatted about how they met, where they’re from and what they do now. She actually works for the Florida Panthers so of course I joked that my husband probably wishes we became best friends. Panthers game tickets? Yes, please LOL. We scheduled a morning session which I don’t actually do often enough. But I was quickly reminded that I need to do them more! Look at this absolutely angelic light behind them in the trees! I think that light only comes through when you’re up early enough to see it. And God rewards you for not wasting time in your day. LOL.

After spending a little time letting them cuddle together in the forest, we moved down to the beach and played in the water. I was so impressed with how naturally these two moved together even with the camera constantly in front of them. They truly rocked the candid photos the best. I loved watching how Micah looked at Anna and I loved watching how Anna was so playful and loving with Micah.
