These two have been together six years and first met when they were at UCF together and Peter was a TA in one of Ghislaine’s classes. Now they’re beyond their college years and Peter is an athletic director and Ghislaine works in the corporate world and though they have six years behind them, they have their whole lives ahead of them together! I can’t wait for their backyard wedding this December, but I have to say I really loved photographing this engagement session. God bless South Florida winters because they just give such wonderful weather to work in. (Ironically I type this while it’s pouring down rain today, HA!) We had a beautiful clear blue sky, sunny day, and though a little nippy, it was a very comfortable 50 degrees at Tree Tops Park in Davie.

I’ve shot at this park so many times recently, but it’s a crowd favorite for the scenery and the beautiful trees. So usually when I shoot there (in the evenings or on the weekends) it’s crazy crowded. However, Ghislaine and Peter scheduled their session for 9am on a Monday morning. When most people were probably settling down at their desk at work with their 2nd cups of coffee, we were enjoying the fresh air in the beautiful serene and, in that moment, completely deserted park taking some of the most beautiful photos. It was a dream shoot, for sure! And Ghislaine rocked her red dress and boots while Peter’s beard game was totally on point. See for yourself in some of these favorites!
