I have such an emotional attachment to this session, as silly as that may sound. Taylor and I go way back to the very beginning of my business. Her older sister Merideth is my friend and was my very first ever bride. Taylor was, of course, in that wedding and when she got engaged to Josh she told me later that I was the only person she considered to photograph the wedding. I always feel so lucky to have such loyalty from the people in front of my camera.

And you know when people talk about how the world is so small sometimes? Well, it really feels small now. Because Josh is in the US Coast Guard and they recently got stationed in Edgewater FL which is only about 4 hours away from Miami. So basically an engagement session was really easy to plan! We looked up what city was basically middle ground for us and they drove two hours south and I drove 2 hours north and we spent time together photographing this Fort Pierce engagement session. It was a perfect day in my opinion. Sure, the sun would have been nice but the clouds provided a beautiful diffused light, and the breeze was warm, the temperature was not at all hot, and these two are just incredibly photogenic! What more can a gal ask for, yeah?!
