Being in Miami, I’m close to some very popular destination wedding locations and Key Largo is my favorite of those locations. It’s so peaceful, beautiful, quiet, and has lots of little hidden gem locations for photos. It’s definitely one of my favorite places to spend free time. So when Nicole and Kyle, who are getting married in Key Largo in April, were in town last weekend to finalize plans I jumped at the opportunity to meet in person and take some engagement pictures. Kyle’s parents reside in Key Largo about 3 months out of the year so I visited them at their condo which had a beautiful and private small beach where we spent some of our time.

It was a beautiful sunny day but not hot at all (the best part about South Florida winters, for sure!) While Kyle stayed on the dock fishing before we started snapping photos, I sat on the porch chatting with Nicole all about her wedding planning, her job in Saint Louis where they live, my hometown of Louisville, and our mutual love for Key Largo. And I couldn’t help but think, yet again, how lucky I am to be blessed with such awesome clients.  I strive to provide an experience for my clients that feels like more than just a client/vendor relationship, but also like you’re able to connect on a personal level. Especially being a position that works so closely with them on the most important day of their lives to date!   Sitting with Nicole and being able to carry a conversation with laughter, personal anecdotes, and an ease of presence is always a great sign that you’re meant to be working together and I am really looking forward to their wedding this spring!
