No matter how much I have going on or how hard I work to book weddings on my own business calendar, I’m always willing to assist and shoot for other professional photographers as well. This time, I had the pleasure of helping the very talented Jessica Bordner with a destination wedding in Key Largo and I am so glad I did. I had never worked with her prior to this and loved every minute of the day. She is such an awesome person to be around, very easy going and laid back and it shows in how perfect her photos are. I’d shoot for her any day! Also, I was also not so secretly excited to work at the Hilton Key Largo Resort since Randy and I got married there nearly 3 years ago.

A funny story: these two folks traveled from Charleston for a beautiful beach wedding and not only did they pick the same venue I did, but they also used the same florist! All the floral arrangements you see in these images are from the seriously amazing Darenda of Designs by Darenda. I did everything with Darenda over the phone and through e-mail for my wedding and when she came to to deliver my flowers on the day of, I was never able to meet her in person because so much was going on. So on this day when she walked in the room, I was like, “Heeeeeyyy!!!” and had to give her a huge hug. Seriously, for anyone looking for a floral designer in South Florida, she’s the best of the best.

Okay, now back to the wedding! LOL. Would you believe it poured down rain pretty much everywhere on the South Florida map except over the Hilton Key Largo? And that’s not even an exaggeration. We checked the radar and the storms were just hovering for hours and yet somehow we were in this dry pocket for around 5 hours straight. Just enough time for us to take some absolutely gorgeous photos of this completely stunning bride and groom. And Lindsey’s dress…Oh. My. God.
